Galopina is such a unique place to stay. It’s been so thoughtfully designed, the exterior/interior is very tasteful, and we immediately felt super relaxed and comfortable. The two owners Elisa and Guillaume were lovely and really friendly. They strike the perfect balance of being attentive but also leaving you to enjoy the property. Highly recommend a stay here - it’s a great spot to check out the beautiful Yucutan countryside, small authentic towns and amazing wild cenotes!

Honestly? Go! Dulce and Aleph are creating something magical. They give information most tour guides woudn't know, cook eyceptionally well and healthy and are happy to help with everything one could need. The hostal it self is one big room so you get to know everybody very quickly. Other than that it's a little hidden which makes for a calm atmosphere surrounded by nature (there even is a secret cenote near by!). Everything was super clean and fully equipped. I got to really relax on my days there, and by the end it felt like I was part of the family. I am so excited for how Oro Verde grows in the future and will forever hold fond memories of this place and most of all the people.

This is really a special place, with excellent staff. Don't miss out on the tour, Felipe is a really nice host! The room was super spacious and comfortable, it was totally worth it to pick this location over Merida (which was our original plan).
