We had a great stay with my friend at Ananda Guesthouse! The view was incredible, super easy access from Balgue but also super peaceful and quiet. You feel disconnected when you are there. We also appreciate that they found us a guide to hike the Conception volcano, and they pre-booked our ferry tickets with the car. We will come back !

Finca Ometepe was the highlight of our visit to Isla Ometepe! We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Hanna and Hakan, who welcomed us to their home, shared their food, showed us around the farm and made us feel at home!. It was a very special experience for all of us, we had never experienced something similar on our travels before. We picked organic greens for salad together, participated in milking the goats, searching for eggs, processing Cacao and Cafe grown on the farm, enjoyed making our own pizza in their clay oven, and baking the most delicious brownies from their cacao (and recipe!). The farm is beautiful and relaxed, the casita has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area with hammocks to relax in. Breakfasts where homemade, yummy and varied, and on top of all of these, hauler monkeys visited nearby every morning!

If you want to get close to nature this place is heaven! The lodges are lovely, comfortable and clean. The owners and staff are so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are really nutritious and you can have fresh fruit from the orchards! You get to hear the symphony of the howler monkeys, frogs and insects through the night which is magical. You can also hike Maderas volcano from here (the guide can collect you right from the kitchen to start the hike!). We extended our stay because we didn't want to leave this lovely place (and lots of guests do the same!)

The location was great as it was near restaurants and central of the island. The owner was amazing and super friendly. She made you feel like home and also organized everything for you that you needed for a fair price. She also gave you fresh towels and bed linens after two days which was nice. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net which was nice. The shower was cold but had good water pressure. It was a very nice place.

Beautiful place to stay. Amazing staff, great cabana, good bed. Nice breakfast and dinner. Beautiful views. The road up there is really doable, especially with ATV but also with other transport I suppose. Would definitely recommend to stay here.
