It’s a small traditional hotel, hosted by the owner with his dog. Our room was in the first floor by stairs, in a corner of the building with garden view. It was a very cozy room with two armchairs and a coffee table. And the door had a key… I don’t remember when it was the last time I used a key to enter a hotel room instead of a card. Just superb!

Had an excellent time at Winjum apartments. The views from our Fjord view apartments were serene! It’s easy to get to and great for groups. Very cosy, homey and no-frills kind of stay.

Wow, wow, wow. Super modern apartment, new furnishings, and simply OUTSTANDING view….. breathtaking. This was a very memorable stay. Also, there is a Mall of Norway at the reception - they give you 15% discount for a variety of Norwegian clothing as a hotel guest

One of the best places to stay in Flåm, especially if you are looking for a peaceful location, beautiful surroundings, and a premium cabin experience. The property has a charm of its own. It is located right near the water, surrounded by incredible scenery, and the entire setting feels calm, private, and very special. I would definitely recommend having your own car if you choose to stay here, as it makes exploring the surrounding areas much easier. They have three beautifully designed villa-style cabins, and before booking I noticed that almost every review mentioned the same two things: the amazing location and the quality of the cabins. After staying here, I completely understand why. The cabin itself feels modern, comfortable, and premium. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and the living room sofa can also be converted into an additional bed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and very well maintained. A huge advantage for anyone travelling with an electric car is that every unit has its own EV charging facility, and charging is completely free of cost. This made our stay even more convenient. What made the experience truly special, however, was the host. She was extremely helpful throughout our stay. My rental car did not have a charging cable, and she kindly lent me one so I could charge the car at the property. She also helped us discover some wonderful nearby places to explore and recommended locations that we probably would not have found on our own. That personal touch added so much value to our trip. One thing I noticed before booking was that there were not many photos of this property available online. So, I am attaching plenty of pictures with this review to give future guests a better idea of the property, the cabins, and the beautiful surroundings. And believe me, the property looks even more beautiful in person than it does in the pictures.

The hosts at Svingen Guesthouse are so friendly and helpful! Our room and the guest house are both very clean and we love the vibe of the house. It is quiet and there is a lot of space to enjoy the views.

the location is a 2 minute walk from the bus/train station - comfortable - clean - they provide bed sheets and towels - the kitchen is well equiped, spacious, good lighting - much like flåm, the overall vibe is calm and peaceful

Fantastic location. Apartment was fine for a short stay

it was a bit far from the city center but the walk was gorgeous. there's a cow farm nearby so it was fun to see with them when i walked out in the morning. people were friendly and quiet in the room. the shared bathroom was big and clean.

This home is simply gorgeous. The hosts have thought of everything to provide an exceptionally special experience. The beds were so comfy, use of the bikes was fantastic, the candles and solo stove added coziness. We simply loved every minute!

Hallgeir, David’s father, welcomed us when we arrived and was incredibly kind and helpful. This was honestly one of the best apartments we’ve stayed in during our entire trip. Four days definitely weren’t enough, and we wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was spotless, well equipped, and very comfortable. Having both a washer and dryer was a huge bonus, and we also loved having four bicycles available to explore the area. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The view from our room was breathtaking. We could sit there and chill all day. The town became very quiet after tourists cleared out. The room was cozy and comfortable. Great breakfast too!

The hotel was right behind the Flåmsbana- just a short walk from the cruise to Gudvangen, the bus stop and the tourist information. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast & dinner buffet had many choices and everything was delicious- there was a selection of local cheeses as well.

Absolutely beautiful home on the outskirts of Flåm…only a short 15 minute walk to town. We were there for just one night, but it was very clean, the kitchen had everything you’d need and it had a rustic, comfortable charm about it. We only used two rooms, but there were at least two more available upstairs. This would be a great place for a family getaway. Bonus: a short walk from a trail leading up to the waterfall overlooking Flåm.

All in all was amazing. The location is a such picturesque villages, beautiful !! People are friendly and helpful. The place is worth visiting once in a lifetime.
