Absolutely gorgeous location overlooking the bay. The house is exceptionally appointed, with quaint touches throughout that make for a lovely and relaxing stay. The kitchen had everything to cook meals. The host left a very nice welcome basket with typical snacks and drinks. There are plenty of nice walks to take in the area, and the location overall is well-positioned for exploring Lofoten. We would absolutely stay here again.

The apartment is amazing. Really comfortable and beautiful. There is a lot of space and the living room is really cute and typical. You can find also all the staff to cook and to wash. The position is perfect to visit Lofoten Island.

House: what a cozy, well maintained, perfect equipped accommodation with a very good taste of interior at this wonderful place of earth. It has recently been intensively renovated by the hosts. On the lower floor you have a huge living/dining/relaxing/cooking room. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern technical equipment, there is a dining table with place for 8 persons, a bigger sofa area with a comfortable adjustable seat with a huge 75” TV and the best last: an approximately 6m² huge additional sofa area between the windows with an amazing view to the mountains and the sea. Enjoy reading, watching TV or just looking around there. WLAN/Internet bandwidth (100+ Mbit) and coverage (even outside) is flawlessly. Generally the view you have in any direction is like watching TV. At some days after we woke up and opened our eyes we just looked out of the skylight in the bedroom for a time. Location: at this side of the mountains it is very quite and actually this location should be ideal for everyone and evey kind of weather. In the summer you can do several activities like hiking, surfing, swimming, SUPing, kayaking, fishing, golfing, horse riding, going to the beach or just enjoy the time in/at/around the house. You have a very good variety of selection for restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shops and museums nearby. All that is available in about 10 minutes to max. 1 hour drive by car what is very good compared for Norwegian distances and especially for a location at the Lofoten as far as we can say. Hosts: that was like the icing on the cake for us :-) Sanne and her family are warm-hearted and open minded people. Always available for a question, suggestion and for a nice talk.

The apartment is situated in a small fishing village about 10 km from Leknes city center where there is supermarkets and restaurants. Whether you are visiting places north or south, the location is very central and convenient. There are several fishing facilities operating in the area. The environment is nice and quiet. The apartment is part of an apartment building. The place is nicely finished, modern and kept very tidy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Free coffee and tea are provided. We prepared our breakfast, packed lunch and dinner there. The host is very nice and helpful. She lives nearby and responds quickly to our queries and renders help. We suggested a toaster and she quickly bought a new one and sent to us the next day. The bathroom is nice and functions very well, also equipped with a washer. The beds are comfortable and we had very nice sleep in the quiet and peaceful environment. We enjoyed our stay at this apartment and is very thankful to the host for her hospitality.

Unbeatable value for the Lofoten. We needed a little bigger and more comfy than a rorbu for a couple of weeks on a workation, and it was perfect. Good Internet, good heating and hot water, fully equipped kitchen and lovely decoration. By a small harbor with great views on the mountains and sea. We saw the northern lights from there, and moose 5 minutes walk up the road. Location is very convenient, in the middle if Lofoten with easy access to all the main hikes and highlights, and close to Leknes shops and grocery stores. Service was reactive and friendly. We also had a delicious waffle and coffee at the super cozy café. A gem in the Lofoten!

About our stay at the Ragnahuset: TLDR: It was great! A beautiful (not so tiny) house in a stunning landscape and hosts that are just great! Everything clean, neat and tidy! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Ragnahuset in Ure. The house is absolutely beautiful, you’ll find everything one could need. We stayed for 2 1/2 Weeks and didn’t miss a thing. There’s a fully spec’d kitchen (with all the utensils you need), multiple bedrooms with comfy beds, a large living room with a smart tv and a (floor heated) bathroom, including a huge shower. After arriving at Leknes Airport and picking up our rental car we made our way through the snowy Lofoten to be finally greeted by the fantastic Ragnahuset. Our hosts made sure the house was ready for our arrival, already from the street you could feel the great atmosphere, all the little lights were inducing. The hosts made this house a home for us and were always reachable if there was a question, a problem or anything we needed.
