A gorgeous place and location, wish we could have stayed longer. We were travelling across Europe to meet family and booked only a few hours before our late arrival. Could not rate this hotel and spa highly enough, value for money? More than! Everything from check in to (free late) check out was outstanding and the staff were exceptional with me and my family. Our room was upgraded for free and the breakfast was excellent. Special mention to Elizabeth for the outdoor sauna ritual and fjord swimming in the afternoon, a truly unforgettable experience.

I originally meant to only spend a night there, but due to the floods at the time my trains got cancelled and I really glad how helpful the host was and that I could spontaneously stay there until the train was running again. The food was good, everything was clean and I really enjoyed my stay.
