Gorgeous views from my room and balcony. I was fortunate to have come during the Teej festival and loved the firsthand local experience of celebrating with this lovely family as various relatives had come to stay. It is a just short 5-min walk to the central plaza (Sitalpati), and there are a few amazing restaurants within 5-15 mins walk.

City View is a simple yet wonderful guest house set in the delightful hill station of Tansen. The owner, Man Mohan and his family are charming, warm hearted and welcoming. The rooms are basic, clean and practical, with solar hot water and lovely views from the top floor. Only wish I could stay longer. Top of my list for when I return to Nepal. Highly recommend for the budget conscious traveler.

What a wonderful stay - spotlessly clean house and room, very friendly and helpful family, and delicious food. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The staff were very cooperative and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food. There is a great view from the hotel, watched the most beautiful sunrise from behind the hills right from my bedroom. The rooms and bathrooms are top-notch and kept very clean. Great stay!
