Everything was great

Location is AH-MAZING!! It is walking distance to the beach. Every afternoon I would walk along the beach seeing the amazing discoveries from the ocean waves. I would sit out on my balacony and strectch early in the morning, drink tea as I took in the morning sun. I would journal, prepare my ideas for the upcoming week, and listen to music. It really was a home away from home. The TV is quite large and you can cast or input your passwords to Netflix, Hulu, Shadad, and VideoPrime. The unit has starter supplies like a broom, dust pan, dish soap, sponges, utitlises, plates, bowls, pans, and a washing machine. (you'll have to buy your own washing powder) I stayed for 5 days and I did not want to leave. The area is a small town. I enjoyed walking through the town and taking in its sites. I went during Eid and many of the children dressed up in traditional clothes or their finest as they came out of their homes to meet other friends. There is a local business that turned their Omani home into a hotel. It is called Koofah Heritage Lodge. They have 12 rooms with traditional decorative rooms. It has a museum and souvenir shop. Near this location is the Taqah Castle and Taqah Fort (Burj Al-Askar) It does cost 1 Omani Riyals (OR) to enter the castle. Even though I have residency in Kuwait, the teller wanted to charge me 2 OR. However, I went to the fort first and then went to the castle. The Omani people are kind. A child wanted to invite me to her family's home for Eid dinner. The children see many tourists around and try to engage with their language skills. They break out in laughter when a non-local responds in their language. I spent most of the afternoon talking with one of the owners of the Koofah Heritage Lodge. I met his brother as he was the cashier in the souvenir shop. The museum is 1 OR to look around and ask a few questions. It was a relaxing and engaging experience.

We rented a residential property a few minutes’ walk from a vast and mostly deserted beach that is part of a Rotana Hotel resort. Really enjoyed the early morning swims in the sea. The great thing is we had access to all the hotel facilities including a selection of restaurants while having the option to cook at home. The swimming pool was right by the terrace. The owner has a property agent who was really attentive. The local area is full of picturesque places to visit as long as you have a car.

That was truly one of the best villas I’ve ever stayed in, from the stunning private pool to the beautifully designed interiors, everything was exceptional. A special thanks to our incredible host, Mr. Hussam, who went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. His hospitality exceeded all expectations!

It was a great stay. Fast check in, polite host, apartment was well equipped, comfortable bed, great view from balcony and swimming pool right in front of you, just 3 mins walk from beach.

Hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate. The gave clear instructions, how to check-in and check-out. The community is very good with access to beaches, pools and restaurants.
