Parking was definitely needed so a relief the hotel was able to provide. Excellent location for a weekend exploring the serra in complete solitude. Wonderful room , like a mini apartment , super friendly and helpful staff . Cannot fault it.

The view from the balcony apartments was outstanding. Use of the pool until 9.00pm and the tranquility was excellent too. Special thank you to Isabel for her advise on excellent walking routes, places to visit, etc, its very useful to have such experience on site. Easy access to Geres for lovely walks into the mountains and swimming in the lake below the porperty is a must!

A beautiful house with stunning views of the Serra de Gerês. It has very good facilities and offers self-check-in. The location is very peaceful and the breakfast was good. There is also safe parking in front of the house. We had a very nice stay.

The complex is very relaxing and suited for families, with nice grassy playground and pool. It is a few minutes walk from Geres village center, so there is no need to drive to go shopping or for a dinner in the village. The hosts are lovely and caring, and the zimmer was clean, fully equipped, and charming.

The house has everything you need. It’s well kept, cosy and very clean. The two bedrooms were very handy with our big family. Renate was super friendly, was always available and even helped us on our way to the cottage. He explained very well how to reach the cottage so we found it easily. I’m not a hero with the car so we parked the car in front of mira Serra (free parking). From there it’s approximately 5 min walk to the house (going down) and maybe double back to the car (going up). The view is amazing, it is a private and close to beautiful sceneries and viewpoints. We only stayed one day so we booked a tour to make the most of it (we booked greenmangeres; friendly guide who adjusts his tours to his clients, we got to see some hidden gems of the area we wouldn’t have found on our own). It was a great way to start our trip in Portugal.

Great location for a visit to the national park. Close to walking trails and bathing spots including Tahiti waterfall. Great restaurant and well priced. Secure parking. Outdoor pool with great views. More of a hotel than hostel imo. Air conditioned with en-suites.

Very clean room with AC, great location with lots of parking space. There is a small kitchenette with a boiler, a microwave , an automatic coffee machine, and a nice patio with lemon trees and views to the river. the water in the bath can be super hot and with strong pressure you feel like you are in a spa. the room was spacious, the bad had reading lights. beds were confortable, despite of being 2 single beds with separated bedsheets. be aware that the check-in is in the hotel on the other side of the road.

The three level apartment was huge and fantastic, with multiple bedrooms and everything you could need. Private pool with a poolside cabana, kitchen and barbecue. Multiple balconies with sunset views of the national park. Private off street parking. Plus the owner, Bernadino, welcomed us and showed us around - such a friendly, knowledgeable guy and so helpful. One of the highlights of our month in Portugal. We would definitely rebook again.

Spectacular and peaceful central location right on the waterfront. Very helpful English speaking staff at checkin. Free secure parking. Delicious and plentiful selection at breakfast. Super comfortable memory foam mattress. Room with balcony was compact, spotlessly clean and lacked for nothing. Walking distance to watersports, tourist info and restaurants. We will be back!
