This place is a treasure, undiscovered treasure. The owners and the staff are among the nicest people that I’ve ever met during decades of Travel. I would recommend that anybody visiting Lisbon should make the hour and a half drive to experience the magic of this place. I did not have time to get an international drivers license before we arrive so I was taken down Lisbon by car once there these people made sure they fed, transported, and taken care of in every way possible. I feel like I made friends for life in a few amazing days.

I rarely leave 10/10 ratings, and I did feel the price is a bit high for what you get, but my wife and I really loved it. The natural pool and mini-beach is truly unique and wonderful—the photos here don't do it justice. Tons of frogs to view and listen to (must be very fun for kids). The room itself was very comfortable with a large deck. Very tasteful decoration. The staff was fantastic, as was the large, healthy breakfast. Perfect location to explore the region, especially the many world class (yet nearly empty) beaches nearby.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were traveling by bike, so were a little high maintenance in terms of storage. They handled everything without a fuss even though they were very busy. The Batman even supplied us with a pile of napkins so we could get the road dust off the bikes. The room was clean, comfortable and funky. When we entered the room there was a handwritten welcome note and plate of pasteis de nata. Oh, and they have an excellent and varied breakfast bar.
