An absolutely unique and beautiful location in the middle of olive and orange groves! Secluded yet with all the comforts of home. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Local wine, olive oil and port await you from the families own estate. An abundant vegetable garden supplies you with the making of traditional Portuguese dinners in the spacious and well equipped kitchen. Breakfast is freshly made and brought to your door. And the views.... definitely something to write home about!

Location was beautiful if a bit isolated. A car is a definite plus if you want to make traveling in the area easy. Food was not included in the house rental but hosts did accommodate us the first night and even gave us some breakfast items. House itself was very comfortable for the three of us and views cannot be beat. Really enjoyed spending the evening on the main inn patio chatting with other guests (ones who were staying at the B & B part of the inn). Did not meet Mario as he was away during our stay but his daughter Caterina, her husband Pedro and their friend Kevin were incredible. Again if you are looking for a few days away from noise, this place cannot be beat. You will be surrounded by nature, nice people, good wine and incredible views. Just be prepared to drive a bit if you want to go to a town (nearest one about 15 minutes away). But you do have everything you will need right there including a great spot to swim in the river right down the hill from the inn (very short walk)

Accommodations were ample, spotless and comfortable. Our host was generous with fresh fruits and nuts from the property and served us a delicious breakfast of home baked goods amongst other items. The property was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Our host and her family were warm and friendly, perfect hosts.

It was a great experience. Wish we would have stayed longer. The owners are such kind people. If you are looking for some calming days, within a beautiful landscape, with nice people and not a lot of tourism, this is perfect for you. And, the breakfast served yes and 11.

En primer lugar agradecer a Claudia y André el cuidado y el corazón que ponen en todo lo que hacen!La casa es espectacular,rústica y con historia...muy bien restaurada. Nos recibió Claudia que fue majísima en detallarnos que se podría hacer en la zona y los pequeños secretos que solo un local te sabe descubrir. Además, fueron tan amables de abrirnos su jardincito con unas maravillosas vistas hacia la ciudad cercana de Vila Nova de Foz Côa sobretodo al atardecer! No olvidemos lo precioso que se ve el amanecer desde el balcón de la casita por encima de las montañas colindantes.También, disfrutamos de los tomatitos de la huerta que nos dejaron los anfitriones y que no sabían a nada que puedas comprar por allí!Para nosotros fue un lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones maravillosas.
