Hotels with Parking in Valença do Douro

We started our journey through Portugal from this place, and we loved it so much that we deliberately returned on our last day before departure to end the trip on a perfect note. The rooms are very stylish, and the dinner format is unique—you enjoy excellent food while making new friends from different countries. And, of course, the wines are wonderful! We fell in love with the sparkling rosé, though the port wines were also outstanding. We took a few bottles of wine and some olive oil with us.

the facilities were top notch. new and modern with all the luxuries needed. The hilltop pool is a must in the warmer interior of Portugal and this property has it all. The food was also delicious at the restaurant and made for a comforting way to end the evening while the sunsets over the Douro River. Our host, Paul, was excellent.

The Quinta is amazing, it’s not only the scenery that contributes to this, but the people working there! The food is so good, so don’t miss it. Thank you guys for an unforgettable experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta do Fraguil. The house is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by vineyards, with breathtaking views over the Douro Valley from every window. It’s incredibly peaceful — you feel like you have the whole valley to yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, even for a serious cook, and the beds are very comfy. Rui, the host, is amazing — so welcoming, attentive, and full of great local tips. His recommendations made our stay truly special. A magical place to relax and enjoy nature! Definitely will return!

The location is superb in the area around, with such big house with a lot of plantings. The kitchen facilities are excellent with a lot of amenities for a family to use. There are two bathrooms and three toilets, very enough for a big group. There is laundry as well. We have a very comfortable stay indeed. Port wine is provided for us to taste and it is a warm treat by the host

An exquisitely appointed hotel in a spectacular location. Wonderful staff and excellent food.

Quiet and peaceful location Amazing facilities; Outdoor barbecue, private pool, parking garage, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed. Close to many famous vineyards

The location is really relaxing. We could make a fire in the patio with supplied wood. The pool is refreshing but nice . The included breakfast goodies was great for my hungry boys

Clean and not far from train station. Host was easily contactable when we arrived early and we were then given the access code.

The location is great, a very good starting point for exploring the Douro valley and surrounding vineyards. The place is very clean and comfortable, providing a great deal of amenities especially for its size. The host even left a welcome drink for us.

The location is stunning and the clever design enhances a difficult site

Wonderful location, incredible service, great welcome, exceptional food & wine. Slight time warp...emphasis on wine, food, nature, tradition. Very relaxed - more like being a private guest than a customer.

The location was gorgeous: our room was magnificent: the facilities were great and the staff were polite, responsive and easy to deal with.

Two balcony areas meant there was always shade. Very good location

Clean, comfortable, conveniently located and very well equipped with great little touches. The host, Antonio José, was responsive and friendly. Highly recommended in Pinhāo

A very pleasant, quiet place with a beautiful view and friendly staff who are accommodating to requests. The breakfasts and dinners are also amazing, accompanied by a stunning view.

Our stay at Hotel Rural da Quinta do Silval was a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt, its greatest asset is the location—the view of the Douro Valley vineyards from our room is something everyone should experience when visiting Portugal. The hotel owners were incredibly welcoming, and the food was outstanding. Before our arrival, Mr. Rui contacted us with the dinner menu and offered us the opportunity to reserve a table for that evening, which we gladly did. The dinner exceeded our expectations and was absolutely delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in the Douro Valley.
