Sofie is terrific. So attentive and cheery. The property is a grouping of buildings dating back to the 1500s with the some parts from the 18th century. Nicely renovated. Giant ceramic old heaters and a kitchen fireplace in the main room that is truly amazing.

The hotel is conveniently located to the train station, a pizza restaurant is just across the street, and a grocery store and a running trail are close by. I was in town for a tribute to Stikkan Anderson and the hotel hosted a fantastic photo and memorabilia exhibition of his life. Everyone there went above and beyond to make my stay a visit to remember!

Location was BEAUTIFUL! Not far from the lake and the Gota Canal. Breakfast had a wide choice of fresh food. Great quality and quantity. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel.
