Great breakfast and calm and quiet surroundings. Wellcomming hosts. Although this stay was a bit away from towns, it resulted to be the best stay of my trip.

Three nights were not enough! For us Strandakar made for an ideal home base for exploring the island’s many treasures. Our hosts Charlotte and Lars were the perfect guides in helping us make the most of our days. Breakfasts and dinners were both beautifully prepared and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. For all of Strandakar’s charms and beauty, it is the hosts are the magic that makes this place special and one to return to again. The size of the apartment was great travelling with a small child. Bathroom was great size and it was good to have a kitchen available. The pool was close by and it was nice going there for a swim. The summer working staff were pleasant and very helpful. The gym was well equipped.
