Nääs Slott is a beautiful castle with an enthralling history and contains a complete and untouched 19th century interior. Visiting the castle is like stepping back in time to the late 1800s.

We were able to have the entire south wing to ourselves. It has library, big dining area, 2 toilets and kitchen. We walked around the castle early morning and the view is just amazing, it is very peaceful and calm.

We stumbled on this place while looking for a layover between Copenhagen and Oslo. My kids and husband play disc golf, so the course here was a draw, and they had marked running trails for me. The hotel itself was a really wonderful surprise: the rooms were huge for families (separate bunk room for the kids), with the summer light our kids were allowed to play soccer golf well past 10pm, and the food was very good. I wish we had stayed more than one night and I will recommend it to anyone doing a driving holiday through Sweden (especially golfers!) We loved the countryside location away from the city. We had no time to walk a lot around in the forests, bu the lake walk we did was promissing. We apreciated also a lot driving very few kilometers to park the car for free and getting to göteborg by train and enjoying this nice city, crowded but opened, large but very accessible.
