We had a very pleasant stay at Maison d’hôtes Niokobokk. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and offers cozy, comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool, the delicious food, and the warm, welcoming hospitality from the hosts – you feel at home right away. The direct access to the beach is a real highlight. Highly recommended!

Ants in the room, bed was like a rock, nothing on including the electric ,managed to get him to put the WiFi on but was soon unplugged as was most things.no hot water for a shower The included breakfast consisted of half a french stick a mouldy looking pot of marmalade and a spread cheese triangle. The location was far from anything ,,but the upside is that you are right on the beach and the views are nice ,apart from that a total let down and would avoid.

The staff at the residence were very helpful and always available when I needed them. There was 24hr security at the residence, and a cleaning service available everyday. The apartment looks exactly as described with an equipped kitchen.

I had a great stay, this island is much more quiet than the French island. Which makes it more local, and authentic as well. Keur mama Africa is situated in a fishermen community, where real life happens at the front door. Kids playing, women cooking, and little shops which sells bread twice a day. If you want to spend relaxing days, at the rhythms of the sunrise, sea and the beach, then Keur mama Africa is perfect for you. Plus it was really easy to travel to the French island, Ousseynou was so helpful and friendly! He showed me how to take the local taxi, where to eat on the French island and the local spots!

Chez Sofia is a great place to meet other travelers. The rooms are really big. We had a microwave and a fridge in our room. The outdoor seating areas are lovely. It's a bit away from the island but it's so easy to get there by bus. We were so lucky that the owner was there because he is a really lovely, kind man. He made us food and organised a lift to the bus station.

The staff were attentive and pleasant which made our stay really enjoyable. The restaurant was perfect, serving local food at a good price. The room was simple but functional and we could hear the waves at night. The beach which runs alongside the hotel is beautiful. The pool was great and the kids absolutely loved it.
