Locations is perfect very close to the statue 4. They give a free ride from and to the port 5. This place is awesome. The owner, Abbie, goes above and beyond for her guests. She drove us from and to the airport, gave us lots of useful tips, and helped us with everything when our flights were cancelled due a typhoon - we ended up staying 7 nights instead of 2. The rooms are nicely designed and very comfortable. There's a fridge, a freezer and a washing machine that guests can use. They also offer scooter rental for a small daily fee. They also have two super cute goats.

The host family was so warmly accommodating. They went out of their way to help not only us but two friends we were traveling with who were not even booked at the Villa. All their communication was prompt and in the face of some travel difficulties, made us feel so well cared for. The owner even took us out the night of our stay to different locations to view the famous Matsu blue tears. In 15 years of living in and traveling around Taiwan, the experience of fantastic service along with a lovely, tasteful, well designed facility make it to the top of our list for best places to stay.
