Cama boa!

Our stay at Jaz Amaluna was simply wonderful. We spent five days at the resort and left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with stunning décor and two different swimming pools, each offering a unique atmosphere. One pool is peaceful and surrounded by the soothing sounds of birds, while the beachfront pool is more lively, with music and morning stretching and aqua aerobics sessions. When we arrived, there was a temporary power outage, which worried us at first. Fortunately, the electricity returned after just a few minutes. During that time, Catarina at the reception was incredibly kind. She gave us a tour of the property and made sure the restaurant prepared a delicious meal for us after our long and exhausting journey. It was such a thoughtful welcome. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff greeted us warmly and regularly checked that everything was going well. We were especially impressed by Agness, whose elegance, kindness, and attention to detail made every meal feel special. We would also like to highlight Issa from the entertainment team. He shared fascinating information about the nearby village, always made sure we were enjoying ourselves, and genuinely cared about the guests. One tip for future visitors: if you plan to enter the ocean during high tide, it’s a good idea to bring beach shoes, as the rocks can be uncomfortable to walk on. During low tide, however, you can walk for kilometers along the beach and watch local women harvesting and planting seaweed. Local guides are available to accompany you, and we met one named Eddie, who also showed us his artwork, which was absolutely beautiful and incredibly impressive. The food deserves special recognition. Every meal was outstanding, with a wide variety of options. The soups were consistently rich and delicious, and the menu changed enough to keep every meal interesting.
