Great view over marina. Staff really helpful and friendly and great gym/pool facilities. Much more affordable than staying in San Francisco and easy to get ferry from Richmond ferry terminal.

Great choices, but most LaQuinta Hotels offer Eggs and a meat product

We liked that it was clean, nicer room than I expected. And it was a short walk to the venue we went to. We've had iffy experiences with Best Western so I was happy this wasn't one of those. Would stay again

Wonderful staff, wonderful stay.

We had a really pleasant stay. The location was good and the staff were really courteous and kind. The room was well appointed and comfortable. It was quiet as we were on the top floor and we didn't experience any noise from other guests in neighboring rooms.

The location was great, the room was clean and quiet. The price was actually affordable for the area.

Outstanding breakfast, indoor pool, great atmosphere in a historic building

Beautiful, quite and picturesque neighborhood with all the required infrastructure within 10 minutes walk; 30 min walk to Berkeley; 30 to 45 min by car to any place in San Francisco. The house with it’s own unique character, early XX century vibe, beautiful and well-kept garden. Nice and cozy bed, bathroom with natural light, own pathway to the house as well as own patio. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Comfortable and clean apartment. Good facilities. Excellent location close to Bart and Target in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. Excellent communication from host.

Nice al well equiped room, style, and decoration are like hotel rooms from higher categories. Location is also convenient, very close from the North Berkeley BART station

Nice and welcoming check in with Eric, great service and atmosphere at Henry’s. Graduate theme, do not disturb flag, nice touches. Right in the middle of the Cal atmosphere, great hotdog around the corner at Topdog, one block to the campus… wonderfull!

The clerk who take care of check-in was super professional -- really excellent. The housekeeping people were always polite and careful. Lourdes, in particular, really excelled. All personnel was impeccable and highly professional, including people helping at breakfast. Breakfast is included and a lot of fun with the waffle stations. The fitness center is well organized an open 24h. Berkeley downtown BART station just a few steps away.

This is a beautiful house in a quiet street in Berkeley. We had the Maple suite, it was clean and comfortable. The house has great character, it’s so much nicer to stay in a place like this rather than a hotel with no soul in my opinion. There’s a small communal kitchen if you need it. We never saw another person during our 2 night stay.

Nice upper floor of a house in a good location in Oakland. Within walking distance you'll find everything, including the subway station Rockridge with direct trains to San Francisco. We didn't have a car during our stay and it was no problem at all. My wife appreciated the coffee machine a lot and we also liked to have breakfast next to the kitchen in the small room with the table.

Nice comfortable beds, clean room with a wonderful view of the bridge (not the famous one!) and the parking was right outside our window. We didn't try the breakfast so can't tell. Many nice places nearby within 5min walking distance to grab something to eat for lunch or dinner. The location is absolutely perfect no matter how you wish to go downtown, that was the main reason we chose it in the first place. By car you are ideally located with free parking spot, and the bus station is right across the street. Made our visit carefree and allowed us to enjoy our staying there with no additional worries.

My stay was wonderful! The staff members were friendly and attentive, and the accommodations were attractive, clean and well planned. Everything I needed and wanted was in my room. Two USB ports for charging my devices were on the nightstand, a neat little pop out reading light on the wall near the bed, the room lights with a dimmer switch, a mini fridge, and a pod coffee maker. Of course, the usual items were also present; blow dryer, ironing board, desk, etc. The bathroom was clean and nicely appointed with a large shower, a vessel sink, plenty of space on the vanity, makeup remover towels, and a large magnified makeup mirror. When I entered the hotel, I received a genuinely warm welcome from Karsyn. She checked me in quickly, and answered all of my questions. She made sure that I had everything I needed, before I went to my room! This was my first time booking a hotel in downtown Oakland. I had parked my car on the street in front of the hotel, and I was really worried about my car getting towed away. Thanks to Karsyn, I was able to sleep peacefully, knowing that it wouldn’t get towed! Just before I checked out, I called the front desk to ask about the proximity of salons to the hotel. Aaron was very knowledgeable and helpful! He, eagerly, looked up what I had requested! He also made check out a breeze! I ordered room service the next morning. My breakfast was delicious! It was cooked perfectly to order. When I called room service, the lady who took my order was kind and quite patient. My order was delivered, promptly, by a polite and respectful young man. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Excellent stay this time~)) Check in was very easy; the receptionist simply gave me the key card for the room to check in then I am in. Room was big & clean, I really liked it even on the 8th floor~! Location is central right in the heart of Oakland by 12th st & Broadway. Just have to be careful walking at night sometimes because there are barely anyone walking on the streets here. Best restaurant here especially at night is the SHOOTING STAR CAFE that opens till midnight! They've got not only Chinese delicious dishes but also some western sandwiches as well as other western food! Nice! Bed was very comfortable to stay in. The AC in the room is very useful especially during the early morning when it's very cold. Overall, very nice! Love the Christmas Tree decoration too!

Location is very accessible for Everything.
