We could not have had a better experience staying at A Regal Retreat. Both the owner and manager were so responsive and accommodating with our special requests, particularly in allowing us to drop off our luggage early, as we were coming into town for our daughter's wedding, and needed to get some things into the refrigerator. The location is perfect for walking to Reading Station, which we did, for a fabulous lunch, and for seeing Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell before our dinner that night. And the house is just darling! My family of nine, including in-laws, loved that we could come together in the wonderful kitchen, dining room and living area, but also enjoyed the plethora of cute bedrooms and several bathrooms, with delightfully fluffy towels and all you might need. We all wished we could have stayed longer! This is just a lovely place to stay.
