Host and hostess (they are the owners of the hotel) were very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home. We had lovely, very tasty ostrich steak and roast veggies for dinner and a delicious cooked breakfast. Our overall experience left a very positive feeling about the hotel; old time grandeur!!

A beautiful property with amazing hosts! I booked the unit for the night before my wedding and to get ready the next morning. They left a bottle of champagne in the room for the occasion. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the views of the mountains from the upstairs bedroom are phenomenal! The aircon was an absolute lifesaver in the summer heat. There are two beautiful bathrooms and the upstairs area has been renovated recently. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area!

The rooms were perfect including the fact that you have your own braai area per room.Also gardens outside with play area for kids and the under roof parking.I personally love everything of this place recommend to everyone to go and enjoy the environment surrounded with the beautiful nature and trees peace of mind.

The location worked well for us as we arrived by motorbike and Werner gave us secure parking just off the mail road. We loved the bye-gone era feel , the tranquility , chickens with names, the unhurried feel and warmth of the hotel. It's very well positioned to explore the town by foot or the surrounding area by vehicle. Very good value, comfortable bed and good WiFi which ticked all our boxes.

Friendly reception by owners, who are doing their best to resuscitate this long-closed hotel, They were well-informed about the area and happy to share with us. Secure parking provided for our car much appreciated. Artwork and public room finishings made for a warm atmosphere.

Family was extremely friendly and we felt at home. House had all the comforts you could possibly need and more! Undercover parking and many facilities we had no time to use. Truly value for money. Cannot respond to meals as we did not request any. Close enough to town to make use of the restaurants. Will definitely use it when we pass there again.

Destination were easy to find.Great parking under shade cloth shed, electric fence and rizor wire and burglar bars for those who needs to see it. Bug proof windows for fresh air. Warm water . Self catering or could order food of a menu that were delivered to our room!!Had no loadshedding How lucky! Could find different plugs to charge phones and use hairdryer. Best of all were the peace and quiet space with no odd sounds and nothing to wake us up!!
