A beautiful property with amazing hosts! I booked the unit for the night before my wedding and to get ready the next morning. They left a bottle of champagne in the room for the occasion. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the views of the mountains from the upstairs bedroom are phenomenal! The aircon was an absolute lifesaver in the summer heat. There are two beautiful bathrooms and the upstairs area has been renovated recently. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area!

I just love staying in this magical, comfortable spot. It is my favorite stay over and makes me happy and restores my soul. The beds are comfy, the showers large with good hot water showers. The kitchen has everything you could need. A wonderful braai area outside. A complimentary bottle of varkenskraal wine in the fridge. Complimentary milk, tea coffee. A lovely walk to the dam. The Meiringspoort waterfall a 10 minute drive away.

The endless beautiful views from every window and every part of the lovely stoep was so good for our souls! The kids loved the jacuzzi and exploring the area and everybody marvelled at all the wildlife. The house was not only clean and comfortable, there was also such attention to detail that you felt so spoiled! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and braai.

Beautiful lodging with attention to detail make this a special place. A very spacious house with wrap around veranda. Spotlessly clean with complimentary fresh flowers in the living area, rusks and coffee. Big, fully equipped kitchen. The game farm is set against one mountain range with a view over another. We enjoyed game and bird viewing on foot. The quests to the lodge are the only occupants on the farm. The night skies as only in the Karoo. We will be back

The cottage is 8km from De Rust and easy to find. The self catering facilities are good, the water is hot and the braai area excellent. Wood is provided for 2 braai's. The view from the cottage is across the fields to the mountains. It is very quiet and the perfect place to stay for up to 4 people. The price is reasonable.
