Everything! The place is a peach - tick all the boxes! The blend of modern styling and rustic furniture is a certain winner. The place is quaint and oozes charm. Rafters (with real rafters!) is the plum in Plumstead, and truly feels like home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the charmin Fiona and husband Rod. After exchanging a few pleasantries, our host, considered as they are left us alone to settle in - with a class of an excellent red wine. And then I saw the rafters - and fell in love with the place. I shall most definitely return to listen to the whispering in the rafters - at the RAFTERS!

Everything, especially the kindness and hospitality from Roy and his entire family. If there were any snags, Roy immediately was on top of it. He even helped me find a place that could do laundry on Easter Weekend before I left the country! Roy’s an absolute legend, and I sincerely hope you get to meet him.

Our stay here was amazing, the pool was perfect, the lodgings comfortable and the neighborhood a calm residential area where u can walk to the store or take a stroll to the park. The hosts are the most welcoming people and made us feel more like friends visiting than strangers lodging. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely everything is perfect, not in a literal technical sense, but in a wellbeing sense. Joy and Keith are just like the caring family that you never knew you always had. Nothing is too much trouble, and every whim is delightfully encouraged. Even novel ways of opening sparkling wine bottles.! This rubs off on all their guests so new friendships spring up naturally to everyone's benefit.

The host was kind and friendly. The facilities were modern. The area is safe as well as shops and restaurants easily accessible. Overall stay was brilliant. The stay was seriously value for money.
