This villa exceeded our expectations. The view from our deck was magical, plenty of animals to keep the whole family entertained and the house itself is very spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and kitchen is well equipped. The pool was heated. We didn't have a car and it was never an issue to send a driver to pick us up and drop us off if needed. Otherwise it's approx. a 10mins walk to the resort/reception area, but it is uphill.

Tshukudu Bush Lodge, set in the malaria-free Pilansburg National Park, overlooks a waterhole and is home to Africa’s Big 5 game. It features a plunge pool and spa treatments can be arranged.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Tshukudu Bush Lodge – Pilanesberg Game Reserve Our stay at Tshukudu Bush Lodge was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, genuine, and deeply connected to the spirit of the African bush. The food was outstanding, a true taste of Africa, beautifully prepared and paired with excellent South African wines. The team made every meal feel special. A huge highlight of our stay was our Game Ranger, Jann Rick (JR). He is, without question, one of the best trackers I’ve ever experienced. His knowledge, intuition, and passion for the wildlife were incredible. On our very first evening, we were blessed to see the Big Five, something I will never forget. The lodge itself is comfortable, intimate, and perfectly positioned in the heart of the wilderness, overlooking a sweeping plain where animals roam freely. Waking up to those views felt magical — true Big Sky Country. If you don’t have the time to travel all the way to the Kruger National Park but want an authentic, world-class African safari experience, Tshukudu is the perfect choice. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
