We stayed at Bujtina Terthorja before and after our Peaks of the Balkan trek and I highly recommend. It was like coming back home after the hike :) The host is really friendly and helped us organize our return to Tirana by bus. Good food, spacious rooms with comfortable bed and a nice outdoor space to relax. There are places in Theth with more facilities but all the basics are there and we liked the family feel of this one.

The gentleman who handles the property Mr.Cina was a great help. He was prompt about getting things done and was very keen to get things done. Enjoyed our stay in with Hotel Shkoder. We booked for 3 people with breakfast included. The breakfast was filling for 3 people. A good combo of tea, orange juice, 2 types of cheese, bread, and fried eggs. We asked for some extra eggs, and they brought it with no questions asked Our stay was very pleasant and comfy. Thank you, Mr. Cina

The host, I believe called Niko, was very friendly and hospitable from the start and throughout our stay. He helped us find the hotel when our maps weren’t working and helped with bags and recommendations. We were provided with a welcome gift as it was our anniversary and this was a lovely touch, thank you so much! Everything was spotlessly clean and super comfortable, I believe freshly renovated. Rooms were modern but the building itself maintained traditional charm and it mixes the two together. Location 10/10. Set back off the Main Street overlooking the garden, it was serene. We had dinner in the garden restaurant one night too and the live music makes a great atmosphere. Breakfast was good too. Well worth the price paid and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing stay, location is gorgeous and hosts very welcoming. In fact, we got lost on our way there and the host called us at 1:30am to check we were ok! The property is a short drive from the ferry.
