The location is fantastic - quiet, in the historic area - charming to walk around. Nearby to many restaurants, cafes & bars. The rooms are clean, the bed extremely comfy & the bathroom modern with a great shower. The common courtyard is peaceful & breakfast room is cosy. The real highlight was Renato - the owner. From the communication before arrival to the warm welcome to the assistance getting us sorted for transport to Valbona. Renato even awoke early to make sure the guests leaving before the scheduled breakfast service time went on their way with a hot breakfast roll. Nothing was a problem, luggage storage, clothes washing (reasonable cost & great turnaround time) & making a single room work for 2 when we were late to book our return stay. His smiley face & warm hospitality will stay with us.

The meal accommodations made it easy to meet other travelers and share experiences. It was a far better experience than typical bar or restaurant experiences where you can be very solitary.

Amazing boutique hotel in downtown Shkodër, close to the lively bars, pubs and restaurants. Design was delicious, the inner courtyard evoked nostalgia of times past, a wonderfully smiling staff. Rooms were spacious, bright, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was rich and abundant. A very nice little getaway for a weekend in Shkodër.

The staff to start with, the location close proximity to info center & market, the room with super comfy bed and lining, the generous food plates made with local chefs. Kleisman & Armado been very nice and helpful throughout my stay.

This guesthouse is up on the quiet hillside. It is a short, 10-15 min walk into town (steep, single track path through nature). There is a beautiful grassy area to enjoy and soak in views. There is a heated pavilion (wood fire stove) where we enjoyed our meals when it was cold/rainy. Plenty of outdoor seating when weather is nice. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.

A day trip to Theth is well worthwhile if you can.

Ubicado a 42 km de Rozafa Castle Shkodra, Wooden Villas Karme ofrece un jardín, un bar y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. Great atmosphere, the cabinets are nice and comfortable, the nature is wild and calming, the price is really cheap for what you are getting!!(Also a nice breakfast) The hostess are very kind, nice family. This place is very recommended if you want a calm naturalistic place to stay.

Staying here was one of the best experiences of our life, Our hosts were the most acompadating people ever, really going the extra mile to ensure we were comftorable. We arrived very early (and tired) and were greeted with a smile and breakfast in the quiet and serene gardens. The food Matilda cooks is amazing and we were constantly well fed with fruit and juice from the farm. This stay was like anything we had done before and I think a lot of that was because of the great hospitality.
