Located 42 km from Big Rocking Horse, Goat Square House - Historic Row Cottages offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The accommodation features a spa bath. Charming, historic cottage with character and privacy. The hosts provided lovely breakfast items and goodies. Perfect little kitchen, and we enjoyed sitting out on the quiet garden patio. It's a short walk to town for groceries, restaurants, coffee, and close to local wineries. The laundry facilities were a nice convenience, too. We loved it here so much.

I have found many wonderful properties through booking.com -- but this may be the best in terms of location & comfort. Wonderful welcoming details such as rugs on the sofa. Peter even made us pizza! So welcome after a long, cross day travelling. Loved it!and left making promises to come back ....

Set in Angaston and only 46 km from Big Rocking Horse, Angaston Saleyards Luxury Accommodation offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely old homestead on outskirts of town with beautiful views over open country. Rooms have separate sleeping and sitting areas. Bread, cereal and milk (etc) provided for breakfast. No sink, only a plastic bowl (not easy to find): tricky to fill kettle and bowl from tap in bathroom basin. A wonderful base for exploring the Barossa Valley.

Featuring garden views, Mataro Cottage features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 47 km from Big Rocking Horse. The cottage was absolutely wonderful, very charming. It was spotlessly clean & comfortable, with a good supply of kitchen items & some pantry staples. Lots of towels & soaps too. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the main street & it had a huge garden with off street parking.
