Set in Melbourne, 1.2 km from Melbourne Museum, The StandardX, Melbourne offers accommodation with a terrace, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We had such a wonderful stay in this hotel. The bed is very comfortable. Although the room might seem a bit small, everything is made to be super practical. The bonus was the grounded coffee and the French press in the room. Such a great idea! And, thank you to the staff, everyone was so lovely.

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment for 2 nights for my MIL’s 70th birthday. Our group consisted of myself, my husband, our 4 yr old daughter and my MIL. It was a 2 bedroom apartment with an adjoining studio room - so we had 3 bedrooms (king beds) 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies - it was perfect! The hotel and rooms are new, modern, clean and spacious. The location is perfect, with James street around the corner with so many dining options and with galleries and the waterfront (playground, skateparks and activities) an easy, short walk away. The rooftop and BBQ area is lovely with stunning views over Geelong and there’s gym facilities which we didn’t use. Large free carpark (on weekends) around the corner. And if you don’t get your room cleaned/towels replaced, they have a plant a tree initiative which we liked!
