Van der Valk Hotel Gent is a stone's throw from the city centre, close to both the E17 and E40 motorways. Molt comfortable. Aigua a dojo gratuïtament, tovalloles a l'spa, cafè nespresso a l'habitació, es orzar molt bo.

First and foremost, I was received by the most welcoming and accomodating staff, Joanna and Remy (not sure if I spelled those correctly). I found them very helpful and so willing to make sure any requests or inquiries were take care of. I absolutely loved the space, the ambience, the comfort, the cleanliness, the calm and peace, the ease of access to and from property. The breakfast was stellar, everything was fresh and the variety and selection superb. I loved the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, so much so I went on a hunt through Ghent to find a retail store which sold the brand and scent.

Boutique hotel 1898 The Post offers accommodation in an iconic, historical building in the heart of Ghent. It is situated in the former post office. Excellent location, Maybe the best for tourists in town. The room was so beautiful and romantic and the view from the window also. If i travel in Ghent again it will be my only choice.

The hotel is situated in Gent, only 500 metres from the historical city centre. This was an amazing stay at a wonderful hotel. It actually felt like a 5* and not like a 4*. We travelled with 2 young children and upon arrival we were surprised with two soft bunnies, 2 golden ducks for the shower, an extra plastic bath, shower gel and shampoo for the kids, even 2 small bathrobes! We have been to many hotels with the kids and this was one of the best welcomes our kids ever received. I especially enjoyed the whats app Al assistant tool, it was extremely helpful and replied promptly. When it didnt have answers an employee of the hotel enter the discussion and replied. We hired a car and when asked they provided pricing both for the hotel parking and also for a nearby cheaper parking (2min walk - very convenient). The Olivier bistro - restaurant was lovely as well and offered tasty food. We booked the suite which was very comfortable and even had a big balcony. To walk to the room from the main building (1min walk) you go through a lovely garden. Highly recommended!!
