Van der Valk Hotel Gent is a stone's throw from the city centre, close to both the E17 and E40 motorways. Everything about the room is excellent. There's also a nearby albert heijn (supermarket) and a bus stop if you plan to go to the city center. Their breakfast buffet is a bit pricey but it's very worth it. Delicious and fresh

Maison Willem Tell is set in Ghent. Ghent Christmas Market is 800 metres from the property. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. All units have a seating area. We were on our way back from England with a van and needed a place to stay for just a night. Marc was very helpful throughout our whole communication. He made sure we knew about the city LEZ, the parking situation, our car was too big for his garage, and waited for us at the house until we arrived. The room was marvellous, spacious, with a nice view in the garden and the fridge was filled with tasty food for the breakfast which was completed with a basket full of fresh bread, croissants and toast the next morning. In the evening he helped us to get a table at a nearby Italian restaurant, a real find! We would definitely stay again with Marc, this time for more days to get to know Gent and the surrounding cities. Thanks again Marc.

The hotel is situated in Gent, only 500 metres from the historical city centre. The hotel itself is a proper place for family stay. Staff is helpful and very attentive. Restaurant provides great breakfast and dinner options.
