Boutique hotel 1898 The Post offers accommodation in an iconic, historical building in the heart of Ghent. It is situated in the former post office. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's as downtown as it gets and there's a taxi stand next to the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds have good and comfy pillows! The staff is very friendly. We got a lot of information on Ghent drawn on a map. It also is a cozy place with a beautiful bar and another space to hang out that has an honesty bar. Around the hotel there are lots of restaurants and other food options.

Bili smo na kraju rujna, lokacija na pola puta (15-25 min.pješke) od kolodvora do centra grada. Vrlo tiho i mirno (spavali otvorenog prozora). Dobar doručak, domačini su jako ljubazni i susretljivi, kreveti udobni - Sve je bilo super!

Brand new property, just opened two weeks ago. Hosts are very nice and helpful. Room and living room area are tastefully decorated. Super clean.. Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to the train station. A convenience store is nearby and also couple small restaurants. If I ever come back to Ghent, I will definitely stay here again.
