Small hotel allocated a bit outside the city center with stunning view on the lake and the city. Nice, clean and very quiet rooms. The only hotel on my trip in the Bolivian highlands which had bed covers warm enough for the chilly winter nights. Very good deal for the money.

The room is quite simple, but the view of the lake from the room and terrace is literally that of a five stary hotel. Very comfy bed, friendly owners, good breakfast. The apartments are great and include everything you need. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was top. We stayed in the hotel for acclimating and had everything we needed in the direct neighborhood.

La Casa de Teresita is a tranquil retreat with a lovely garden in a nice neighborhood of La Paz. The view from the gardens over the city and mountains in the background is amazing! It is so peaceful there, and everyone is so kind, helpful, and friendly. The tour of the main house is really neat to see all of the history of Bolivia and the family who owns the house. It is easy to step out the door to grab a taxi and go 10 minutes to the historic center, or just stay and enjoy the grounds and the neighborhood it is in. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from all within a 10 minute stroll. The breakfast is tasty, the shower is strong and hot, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are large with plenty of counter space and closet space to keep things organized. We loved our stay here and look forward to another visit!
