We had to leave on the ferry which leaves at about 7:00 A.M. on Sunday, before breakfast which, possibly, could be ordered to go. The venue was quite close to the ferry, and we easily walked to it. The sun comes up at St. Eustatius early enough so we could walk in semi-daylight. This single, two-story venue is very nicely built and furnished with a kitchen. It is associated with another regular hotel, the Gin House, which is next door. The "Barrel House" is built into a nice seaside restaurant with which it shares windows.

Never felt like there were many people around even though the place was fully booked. Just such a calm and beautiful place.

The little houses have a view of the ocean and you can hear the goats and birds roaming around outside the property. The bed is super comfortable and large size, making it the perfect place to relax with a view of the ocean. Or to go down to the pool for a refreshing swim. Tony, the manager is super friendly and always ready to help. The island itself is super sweet, not super touristy, but still with nice tasty restaurants by the harbor or a more authentic eating experience in town. Would highly recommend
