The facilities are in excellent shape. Rooms are spacious with a large deck area. Beds are comfortable, and linens are fresh and new. The location is very good, within a short distance to numerous excellent restaurants. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

I San Ignacio, 5 minutters gange fra Cahal Pech, ligger Falling Leaves Lodge, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. This property is an oasis just a stone throw away from downtown San Ignacio. I was so taken with all the trees and plants and I love that they have benches to simply sit and enjoy nature. The shower was phenomenal, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C was superb. I liked that there’s was a little coffee maker complete with filter paper, ground coffee and powdered creamer and I made good use of it in the early morning when I needed to work remotely. Speaking of—the WiFi was excellent and I had no issues with any of the conference calls I had during my stay. Lastly, I’m very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. There was always someone around to ask for help or get a recommendation, without them being helicopter-y. If you need a nature retreat within easy reach of downtown (if you’re into walking) I wholeheartedly recommend this place! It’s especially perfect if you’re backpacking but want a nice, calm place to stay. The bus drops you off at the bottom of the hill and it’s a 5 minute walk.

We had a wonderful stay in this piece of heaven. We stayed in one of the wooden lodges with warm (!!) outdoor showers. If you look up you just see the trees and birds! We saw and heard the toucan from our room, saw the hummingbirds sitting in the trees and around the feeder, and even heard a nightjar at night! There is a small fridge with beverages to purchase in the room, and free coffee and tea. The food at breakfast and dinner is wonderful (I tried many new things) and there is always good energy in the kitchen, everyone is so friendly! Marcella also has a lot of really helpful travel advice and always looked out for how to help! :) Thank you so much for this amazing stay!

Vanilla Hills Resort offers spacious bungalows located in the lush tropical jungle outside of San Ignacio. It is a short walk from the Mopan River and offers free Wi-Fi and parking. Tranquility! The staff were fabulous.

The location, facilities & the staff were terrific! Sleeping Giant Resort is located right off beautiful Humming Bird Hwy, not that far from Belmopan, close to Herman's Cave & The Blue Hole. I believe the whole resort & development covers 500 acres, so it feels like you are in your own world! We loved the bikes, hiking trails, bridges, lookout tower, animals (poultry, peacocks, sheep, horses, bunnies, turtles, birds), river/tubing, outdoor wood-fire pizza dining area, restaurants, pools, gardens, sitting areas, large rooms, everything was bonus! We felt like celebrities lol, all the staff was amazing, friendly, kind, so helpful! The higher price justified the inclusions & amenities. We came during low season & stayed in Riverview room #5, so it was a great value. We loved everything about this place & can't wait to return! Thank you <3
