This place felt like paradise hidden among agricultural land with nearby jungles and ancient ruins. The host, Dominic, is so kind, helpful, great to chat with, and an excellent cook! He provided us with great recommendations for food, tour companies and transport. We woke up to roosters, toucans, parrots, and many other birds calling each morning and were served delightful coffee and breakfast daily. We also had the option of delicious suppers on site for a small extra fee. The beds were very comfortable and rooms clean / well appointed. The cottage is located close to the Xunantunich archeological reserve such that we could walk there and back with our adventurous kids. That saved us on having to hire a tour company for the day. This is an incredibly place with a very gracious and communicative host. Plus, my kids loved the dogs and cats on the farm.

The room we had was very clean and the food at the restaurant is great! The pool was refreshing! The lodge is directly next to the Mayan ruins Cahal Pech, which is definitely worth visiting! Highly recommended!!! You can see and feel that the lodge is maintained and led with love!

Vanilla Hills Resort offers spacious bungalows located in the lush tropical jungle outside of San Ignacio. It is a short walk from the Mopan River and offers free Wi-Fi and parking. Beautiful hotel with so amazing cottages. Extremely clean and well built cabins, also very private. Beautiful and cozy landscaping all over with nice light and wildlife sounds. So cool outdoor showers in the cabins. Big beautiful pool and cozy sitting area. Very kind and personal service.

Amid the forests of the Blue Hole National Park, this property offers free Wi-Fi access, private parking and free bike rentals to sightsee the area. A tour desk is also available on site. Magical place - really beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend. Wish we had stayed longer.

I stayed in Room 4, and it was very spacious, clean, cozy, and felt just like a home stay. The room is very family-friendly, with bunk beds and a TV in one part of the room, and a large bed with another TV in a separate area. The room is well equipped with fans and an A/C unit, a mini refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, a couch, and plenty of storage for clothes. There is also a safety box for personal items, as well as tables and counters to eat and place food. The room also includes a lamp and lamp stand with drawers next to the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower has both hot and cold water. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel as you get value for your money! I will definitely return.

The home is brand new and sitting on a hill with a beautiful view of the jungle and pool down below. Frankie, the owner and operator, was amazing. He helped book all of our tours and made sure that everything was as it should be with the home. He picked us up at the airport and drove us back with a stop at the ziplines on the way back to Belize City. His home is very nice and located about 2 miles outside of downtown San Ignacio, so it's an easy trip into town for dinner.

This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

Owner met us on arrival and was very helpful letting us know about the property facilities. The location was great, very easy to get to local restaurants and shops, and also very handy for the Mayan attractions nearby. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!
