Glen greeted us warmly and allowed us to check in early so we could drop off our bags while we went out to the Fortress. The house is absolutely lovely--exactly what we were looking for on our Canadian countryside journey! It's very well maintained and the furniture is out of a movie from 70 years ago. Also, the breakfast was delicious and far exceeded expectations! They adjusted for my wife (vegetarian) as well.

Very beautiful spot which was well maintained. Loved the garden patio which was bathed in sun in the morning. Great spot for breakfast.

Comfortable beds, access to fans/AC to cool the rooms down. Reliable wifi (at least for mobile browsing) and a great breakfast each morning. Walkable to local beaches & a lovely lawn to chill on at the start/end of the day. Boasting garden views, The Fiddle and the Sea Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with patio, around 1.2 km from Sunset Beach. The hosts and the breakfast were wonderful. Having a history of the location at breakfast followed by fiddle playing enhanced the whole experience, I would highly recommend stopping here.

Just 500 metres from the coast, Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages are all equipped with BBQ facilities and a patio overlooking St. George’s Bay and the Strait of Canso. Beautiful surroundings, though the mist took away some of the pleasure. The cottage is very good and well equipped. The landlord is very good, friendly and welcoming. My friend and I arrived late (after midnight) by rental car from Halifax. He (the landlord) was waiting for us and directed us to our cottage. We really appreciated this kind service.

Facing the seafront, The Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins is a campground providing a 2-star accommodation in Birch Plain. It features a private beach area, garden and parking on-site. The room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious! Also we could reach the beautiful beach!
