Le Monastère des Augustines, a health and wellness centre, is a former monastery from the 17th century that has been completely restored. This was such a fortunate find for our first trip to Quebec City! The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk from the central shopping/restaurant area, and it had a small parking lot onsite. The hotel was pristine. Walking to our room felt like walking through history.

From the moment we saw the hotel from outside we were impressed, although no big foyer or entrance with the grandeur, the position was fabulous, and the Christmas vibe was beautiful. I thought i would ask if it was possible to have a christmas tree put in our room - didn't think it was likely to happen but they did and it bought a tear to my eye as i have dreamt of a white Christmas with my fmaily for many years and this was the cherry on top. Thank you Le Capitol for making one of my bucket lists items so special and a memory that will stay with me and my family forever.

Our apartment was beautiful the ambience as we entered with all the special touches was so welcoming after a very long delayed flight from the UK. It was just perfect the beds were so comfortable wish this was our accommodation for our whole stay in Quebec not a stop over for 1 night it just perfect home from home 5 star thank you
