Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff were excellent, they accommodated all our needs. The rooms are all modern and well equipped. You get a welcome drink. All went fine. We even extended our stay one more night.

The accommodation is super clean with detailed facilities provided . Very spacious room and bathroom. The kitchen is a communal kitchen which has awesome facilities to use . It’s a sparkling clean hygienic and stunningly beautiful accommodation. The area is well connected with restaurants and transport facilities and a huge store Aldi just across the street . The room are beautifully designed and panted , heating facilities and standing electric fans provided too. Large windows with electric shutters made it super modern . A great parking space with easy check in and check out. The security is really good . The host were very polite and friendly. We loves our stay and shall book again for sure .
