Het Waldhotel by Bürgenstock ligt 450 meter boven het Vierwoudstedenmeer op de Bürgenberg, in het Bürgenstock Resort. Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.

Let's not forget the cable cars in walking distance that can lift you up in the mountains! So comfortable that a family of four could stay there for weeks. With a view that you believe it only if you see it!

Hotel Engel ligt aan het dorpsplein van Stans en biedt moderne, minimalistische kamers met eigentijdse meubels. Het café beschikt over een terras met uitzicht op het plein. A gorgeous, modern hotel in a traditional building. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful when we arrived, offering us a secure garage for the motorbikes and letting us into the room early. The rooms were large and comfortable and the restaurant was great.

Hotel Nidwaldnerhof direkt am See ligt in Beckenried, direct aan de oever van het meer van Luzern. Whoever put this place together is a genious in this field. Food, service, design, amenities all extremely thought out and provided with great presentation. Wait staff excellent as well as the food and view in the on-site restaurant. As a suggestion for the fall and spring, how bout a gas fire pit to sit around outside on the lake?

Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel ligt in Beckenried aan het Vierwoudstrekenmeer en biedt kamers met een unieke charme in een historisch gebouw uit 1820. WiFi is gratis. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing for our top floor attic room. Breakfast was wonderful as was the dining experience. Highly recommend.
