A good location for a relaxing getaway in Sachseln, Verena's Boutique Villa au lac is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. What a spectacular experience. Felt like we were staying with a friend. She went above and beyond for recommendations for us. Assisted us with laundry, and provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location was absolutely perfect. Quiet, right by the train, and close to surrounding activities and restaurants.

The staff was very nice, room and common areas were clean, excellent location near the train station. Nice fully equipped kitchens.

In Sarnen, 2 km from the Sarnensee Lake, the self-catered Apartments Chalet Wirz Travel offers an air-conditioned apartment with free WiFi and free private parking on site. Everything was perfect - this was our most enjoyable stay in many years of vacationing in different parts of the world. JP is a wonderful host and Sarnen and the apartment were just perfect.
