Everywhere was clean, the property was central to San Pedro & Carmen & her family were delightful. They could not do enough for us even with the difficulty of speaking different languages. We really relaxed there, ready for the early starts on a lot of the different trips. Carmen let us leave our cases with her whilst we went in a 4 day trip to Uyuni. Thank you Carmen. She also found out about the local bus service to Calama. Take a tip. This bus was so easy to catch, quick & extremely comfortable. Much better than a local transfer. The buses run roughly every hour.

Absolutely HUGE tents - plenty of space for everything you need. It's also only a short walk to the main part of the town (10-15 minutes) - which works out pretty well as it's very easy to park. Check-in was really smooth and the hosts were very accomodating. Tents also had a heater and AC so despite the extreme elements, you don't really feel it in the tents. Just a FYI it is essentially in someone's backyard, so it's not like it's very remote/out in nature, but that wasn't an issue for us.
