Staff is amazing, manager was super polite and helpful, room is huge and modern (got upgraded at no costs) and the view is incredible. They even clean your shirts and laundry without any charge. One of the best stays I had in my entire life

Set within 1.5 km of Chaotianmen Square and 2.7 km of Hongya Cave, Merica Hotel-ChongQing jiefangbei provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Chongqing. Room is comfortable. The hotel is affordable and nicely located in the heart of Jiefangbei and it is so easy to travel around. Hotel staff went out of their ways to help me organize my trip as well. It is also very close to the food street and a good noodle shop is located right in front of it. If you’re a foodie, I highly recommend you stay here.

The staff were very helpful/friendly, the food and drinks in the restaurant and bar were awesome, excellent value for money, the rooms were spotless and had an excellent view of the city. when I go back to Chongqing I will 100% be staying here again. It's in the heart of the food market/shops

I already knew I would feel at home even before arriving there, because from the moment I booked, Lucky kept in touch to ensure that my mother and I arrived at the correct address and that we didn't have any difficulties. Unfortunately, we arrived feeling unwell, and Lucky spared no effort to help us, getting medicine, making tea, and suggesting nearby places to visit. And even after we left, she still contacted us to see if we had recovered. We felt very welcomed and well cared for. The hotel very cozy and well located. we totally recommend for everyone.

The staff stood out at these apartments. They did everything with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. Sadly I had a medical issue that meant I wet the bed. They went out of their way to treat me/us with kindness and respect
