Guilin O-LIVE Social Hotel -Riverside -Adjacent Elephant Hill -Pedestrian Street-Twin Towers-Mediterranean style bevindt zich in Guilin, op 5 minuten lopen van Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, en biedt... Superb location, very central on the river and a few minutes walk from Elephant Hill and the Sun and Moon pagodas, which I could see from the room. Booked a balcony room which had a huge bath overlooking the views, well appointed, modern and clean with some lovely little touches and soft bedlinen. The rooftop has stunning views and a couple of tables. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff super helpful.

Yangshuo 1Q84 Tree Hotel is gelegen in Yangshuo, op 4,4 km van Busstation Yangshuo South, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. Amazing local hotel / homestay for a quick retreat. Location: slightly out of central town in Yangshou (5min drive). Personally this is exactly what we wanted, a mini retreat to relax. Several restaurants including a restaurant built into a cave right nearby. Rooms: we stayed in a mountain view king room which was awesome, 'instragrammable', spacious with big bathtub, adjustable AC, and projector tv. It was very clean and modern with top to bottom glass windows so you wake to a beautiful view of mountains. Staff: This isn't a chain or resort, so the service is more personable. You'll become acquainted with them in no time. Promptly responded to WeChat messages. Very friendly and extremely accommodating. We had a issue when we first checked in with some construction noise - which the staff immediately addressed and this was greatly appreciated. Food: 'Western' style restaurant serving comfort food which was good and honestly a nice pace chance having travelled china for several weeks now. Cafe: perhaps one of the highlights is the treehouse cafe on level 5 - which has stunning views and great coffee. Value: room was on the expensive side compared to other places we stayed in China, albiet we booked the most expensive room type. We definitely got what we paid for. Other: the pool was out of service during most of our stay but personally this isn't something we'd use anyway. they also assisted us to use the laundry which was great as laundries seem hard to find in mainland China. Throughout our time here, we only had to leave the hotel once really, to go watch the Impressions show. Everything else was well catered to by the hotel or it's near surroundings. Would strongly recommend staying here during your visit to Yangshou, especially if you're looking for a place to get some rest and recovery.

Dreamland Inn ligt in Yangshuo, en biedt accommodatie met een terras of een balkon, gratis WiFi en flatscreen-tv, en een tuin en een restaurant. Een fantastisch mooie locatie met prachtige kamers en een sprookjesachtig uitzicht! De eigenaren van het hotel zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is kleinschalig en de familie leeft ook in en om het hotel, wat een echt thuisgevoel geeft. Deze plek heeft ons hart veroverd! Het ontbijt was erg goed, met zowel chinese als westerse opties. Ook het avondeten was heerlijk! Kortom: echt een aanrader :) Vanaf het hotel wandel je gemakkelijk naar de Yulong rivier, waar je op veel plekken koffie of iets lekkers kunt halen. Ook kun je vlakbij het hotel fietsen huren om langs de rivier te fietsen (aanrader!). Het hotel zelf verhuurt ook scooters. Er zijn veel restaurantjes en barretjes in de buurt, dus je komt niets te kort. Ook kun je met de taxi gemakkelijk een avondje naar Yangshuo stad. De eigenaren helpen je graag met leuke tips voor activiteiten :)

Guilin Village Creek Inn--Fee pick up service over three nights is gelegen in Guilin, op 7 minuten lopen van Reed Flute Cave, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde... Guilin village creek is an amazingly friendly and cozy place to stay. It's situated in a tiny quiet town and the inside feels like a Swiss cottage. Michelle and her team were extremely welcoming. With tea and fruit on arrival, always there to help out with booking trips, giving dumpling workshops, guiding us around on the local market, making delicious meals, providing us with meds when our son got sick one night. And much more. The room was cozy and cleaned every day. It was winter when we were there, but the heating system made it nice and comfortable. The meals in the restaurant downstairs are fresh and made with a lot of love. And we could even borrow the owners bikes with kids seats for free, with which we made some amazing bike rides through the area. You're half an hour bike ride away from the city. And with a taxi (very cheap) you can reach several interesting places in the bigger area.

Yangshuo Jing Yuan Inn Near The West Street is gelegen in Yangshuo, op 19 minuten lopen van Busstation Yangshuo South, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en... We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De eigenaresse is een super leuke vrouw die goed engels spreekt. Ze heeft ons veel tips gegeven over de omgeving. We zijn door de moeder van de eigenaresse uitgenodigd voor een heerlijke lunch. Zo gastvrij! We konden ook een scooter huren bij het verblijf om de omgeving mee te verkennen. Er is een restaurant om de hoek waar je kunt ontbijten. Echt een aanrader als je in Yangshuo bent! Hopelijk komen we hier nog eens terug.

Guilin Qingshanshe Hotel -Free pick up train station stay two nights ligt in Guilin, op 13 minuten lopen van Reed Flute Cave en heeft een tuin, een restaurant en uitzicht op de bergen. De locatie in een mooi rustig stukje aan de rand van Guilin. Met de taxi in 15 min in het centrum. Het hotel regelde een pickup van het station. De kamer was schoon en stijlvol. De eigenaren super vriendelijk!

Guilin Bonjour Boutique Hotel- Free pick up service over 3 nights heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Guilin. It’s one of the best staff you could ever find! Help us all the way, helped to plan everything! Talked to taxi drivers, local people, organized a lot of trips ahead. Very helpful and generous staff.

Autumn Inn biedt uitzicht op de stad, een tuin en gratis WiFi. De accommodatie ligt in Yangshuo, op 26 km van Busstation Yangshuo South en 31 km van Darongshu Scenic Area. Loved this little "inn" on the pedestrian walkway right outside numerous restaurants and souvenir shops and people watching galore. Hard to find so enquire with owner before arriving as your taxi can't drive you to door. Hotel is everything one would want with a comfortable bed/linens, free water, cleanliness a priority, view spectacular and friendly staff who were so helpful and even spoke English for extra understanding. I loved this place for the cost it was super. Stayed only 3 nights but would love to go back for more. Location was perfect for tours and walking to river for cruises. Don't miss the handmade yogurt shop two doors down for the best fresh fruit/yogurt with nuts you'll ever try. And Rosewood Cafe for some international food which like me you might be craving is you are a foreigner and tired of oily veggies and rice!
