This allowed us to be the first wave of visitors in the morning, beating the crowds. Furthermore, being close to the bus station made arriving from and departing to other cities incredibly easy and stress-free. You truly cannot find a more strategically convenient place to stay for exploring the park. Service: Warm, Professional, and Attentive From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. They are not only professional but also genuinely warm and friendly. They helped us with maps, gave us great tips for our hiking routes, and were always ready with a smile. Their excellent service made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout our trip. Breakfast: Delicious and Varied The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It offered a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, all of which were delicious and freshly prepared. It was the perfect fuel to start our long days of hiking. We looked forward to it every morning! Cleanliness: Impeccably Maintained The entire hotel, from the spacious lobby to our room, was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job. Our room was cleaned to the highest standard every day, which provided a very comfortable and hygienic environment to return to after a day of adventure. We cannot recommend the Lumina Hotel highly enough. It was the perfect base for our Zhangjiajie adventure, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We had a fantastic experience at Avatar Peaks! The location right at the base of the mountains is breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and efficient—they helped us book all our park passes and the complimentary shuttle made getting around a breeze. The pools were a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking, and the breakfast buffet with local options was delicious. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it to fellow travellers!

And above all, the manager of the hôtel,Joanna, gave us free help for booking all the attractions in Zhangjiajie which was absolutely helpful!

Friendly staff who explained the activities and what to see in the area. Nice, clean rooms in a central but quiet location. They even sent my adapter straight away to my next destination which was very kind. Highly recommend.

The hotel was modern and Zen in decoration. The staff is friendly and so helpful. The room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with Chinese food. We used the free washers and dryers and petted the resident golden retriever. Just 5 minutes away is a good restaurant, and the views in the area are gorgeous!

Special thanks to Yuan Yuan, who patiently helped us explain and plan our three-day itinerary for Zhangjiajie National Park and the Grand Canyon. She listened carefully to our needs and assisted us wholeheartedly. She also recommended and helped us purchase admission and activity tickets, which made our journey very smooth and saved us a lot of time and effort in planning the routes ourselves. The hotel is conveniently located close to the National Park and the Charming Xiangxi show theatre. They also provide free pick-up and drop-off services to these entrances, which is extremely helpful. They even provided one way free pick up from high speed train station to hotel. It's very useful when we visit the place in the first time. As for the room, it was very comfortable and clean. The in-room facilities are of high quality. The air conditioning works very well and maintains a comfortable temperature. The shower has strong water pressure and is easy to adjust to a pleasant temperature. We could also tell that the shampoo and conditioner provided are of good quality. The restaurant staff are friendly too and put great effort to accommodate our breakfast needs during the stay Overall, we felt very comfortable, warmly welcomed, and well taken care of during our stay. Highly recommended.
