Super friendly and serviceminded host, employees and host family. Beautiful traditional guesthouse in a quiet street inside the walls of the old city. The breakfast was very nice, the backyard was very well decorated and calming. Our taxi driver from the train station called the guesthouse, so the owner came and picked up the luggage into the ancient city. Highly recommended . Thank you. Situated in Pingyao, 200 metres from Ming and Qing Street , Hongyuyuan Family Guesthouse boasts a restaurant and free WiFi. It is located in Ancient City of Pingyao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful house. The room was super comfortable. Quite. Can rest well. The staff was amazing. Absolutely loved it and would stay again.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

Rooms are quiet and minimalist with great water pressure, reliable fast Wi-Fi, plenty of bedside outlets, and strong AC/heat. The bed and linens meet Western comfort standards. Breakfast can be chosen Chinese or Western—I tried both during my stay and each was fresh, well-presented, and generous (fresh juice and good coffee/tea included). Staff were proactive and friendly, arranged luggage pickup from the city gate, and communicated smoothly in English. The location is perfect for walking the lanes yet peaceful once inside the courtyard. Tips for Western travelers: cars can’t enter the old town, so message the hotel for pickup; wear comfortable shoes; and leave time to simply enjoy the courtyard—part heritage museum, part modern gallery. A flawless stay.

Staff is incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond despite the language barrier. Very nice room, full of any kind of amenity. The hotel itself is gorgeous with a beautiful courtyard.

We had a great stay. The room was comfortable, modern, and better than the photos—new furnishings, good quality finishes, and all the toiletries you might need. Thoughtful extras included a plug adapter, a Bluetooth speaker, and a quality hair dryer. On arrival the room was at a pleasant temperature, with snacks and a fresh fruit plate waiting for us. The location was very good: inside the old city walls and a few minutes walk to the main area of the old town. Best of all, the service was outstanding. The staff were genuinely helpful throughout, and the person who looked after us went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and shared great restaurant tips. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

Objekt JW Marriott Hotel Taiyuan smješten je na atraktivnoj lokaciji u četvrti Xiaodian District u gradu 'Taiyuan', na 4,1 km od znamenitosti Shanxi Medical University, 4,2 km od znamenitosti Shanxi... We travelled in a group of 3 pax and requested for an additional bed; we were very happy to see this already arranged by the time we checked in after a long flight and given an upgrade to the executive size. Room was clean, spacious and bedding comfortable with a Nespresso machine in the room. We also enjoyed the diverse spread at breakfast - with lots of local fare and a good balance of non- local to choose from. We also appreciated the amazing speed of the staff who responded to our requests with friendliness and alacrity - the concierge desk, the bellboys and the ladies at the breakfast counters were very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Taiyuan
