El Pipa Hostel ofrece alojamiento en la ciudad de Datong, en un edificio histórico situado a 4 minutos a pie del Huayan Temple East Plaza. Hay WiFi gratuita en todo el recinto. Everything at the hotel was exceptional: the clean rooms, bathrooms, the delicious breakfast, coffee available all day (for a small fee), the location in the middle of the ancient city. The hotel staff was especially nice. Questions were answered in English (if an English speaker was available) or with the use of a translation app. We could book train reservations and a taxi ride to the Hanging Temple. The directions for using the city bus for the Yungang Grottoes were very good. All in all, I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a several-day stay.

Ubicado en Pingyao, a 18 minutos a pie de China Chamber of Commerce Museum, Pingyao Jiaxin Guesthouse tiene hospedaje con un salón compartido, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, una terraza y un... Impecable. Cerca de la ciudad vieja, a unos miniutos caminando, y de la estacion de tren normal (no la rapida). La persona que la atiende muy simpatica y amable. Las instalaciones del hostel de 10. Todo positivo

La Hongyuyuan Family Guesthouse, situada en la antigua ciudad de Pingyao, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, a 200 metros de la calle Ming y Qing, ofrece restaurante y conexión WiFi... El hotel era precioso, ubicado en la zona de tiendas y restaurantes y nos vinieron a buscar a la estación de tren y también nos llevaron de vuelta cuando acabó el viaje. El personal muy amable y nos ayudaron con las dudas, nos dieron te y nos sugirieron qué visitar.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

Rooms are quiet and minimalist with great water pressure, reliable fast Wi-Fi, plenty of bedside outlets, and strong AC/heat. The bed and linens meet Western comfort standards. Breakfast can be chosen Chinese or Western—I tried both during my stay and each was fresh, well-presented, and generous (fresh juice and good coffee/tea included). Staff were proactive and friendly, arranged luggage pickup from the city gate, and communicated smoothly in English. The location is perfect for walking the lanes yet peaceful once inside the courtyard. Tips for Western travelers: cars can’t enter the old town, so message the hotel for pickup; wear comfortable shoes; and leave time to simply enjoy the courtyard—part heritage museum, part modern gallery. A flawless stay.

The rooms are comfortable, modern, stylish, and spacious. I was worried that these old buildings were not properly heated for the winter days, but it was so warm and toasty when I arrived that I had to dial down the heaters. The food is delicious. And the staff is so warm and thoughtful. They gave my twins, who had their birthday on the day we checked in, small birthday cakes which made their day! And because we had to catch a really early train (it was still dark outside), the kitchen staff packed us some food to take on the way. My kids said out of all the cities we went to, they loved this hotel the most.

Establecido a 1.4 km del centro de Datong y a menos de 1 km de Nine Dragon Screen, 五福居 Five Blessings Hotel ofrece hospedaje climatizado con un patio, bicis gratuitas y un jardín. Todo un diez sin duda el mejor hotel que hemos estado en china, una pena que no pudiéramos quedarnos más noches. La amabilidad de la gente que trabaja allí es una pasada te hacen sentir como en casa. Y el chófer que contratamos con ellos las excursiones de las cuevas y el templo colgante muy bien, amable. Simpático y siempre atento mil gracias 🫂

Atractivamente ubicado en el distrito de Xiaodian District de Taiyuán, JW Marriott Hotel Taiyuan está situado a 4.1 km de Shanxi Medical University, a 4.2 km de Shanxi University y a 4.4 km de Yingze... We travelled in a group of 3 pax and requested for an additional bed; we were very happy to see this already arranged by the time we checked in after a long flight and given an upgrade to the executive size. Room was clean, spacious and bedding comfortable with a Nespresso machine in the room. We also enjoyed the diverse spread at breakfast - with lots of local fare and a good balance of non- local to choose from. We also appreciated the amazing speed of the staff who responded to our requests with friendliness and alacrity - the concierge desk, the bellboys and the ladies at the breakfast counters were very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Taiyuan
