Everything about this property is perfect. The place feels like home, the bed is clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and the bathroom is clean and very modern. The uncle from the Inn will also meet you at the gate of the Old town and help you out with your luggage. But most of all, Mandy (manager) is super duper friendly and will help you out a lot. She managed to book me a last minute tour to the Yulong Snow Mountain. You can also do your laundry for free! Mandy helped me out to transfer my clothes to the dryer as I was exhausted coming from the day tour. She also prepared breakfast for me to take. This is the best Inn I’ve stayed so far. Will definitely come back!!

At 1 a.m., we dragged our suitcases to the ancient town. The owner was waiting for us at the entrance of the alley, holding a red lantern; he also prepared warm brown sugar ginger tea to help us ward off the cold. He helped us carry the luggage upstairs and patiently planned our route for the next day’s trip to the snow-capped mountains. This kind of warmth was even more intense than the sunshine in Lijiang.

The yard of this inn is full of flowers, the wooden building is antique, and the owner is as enthusiastic as family, and he doesn't want to leave after staying.

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

This place is outstanding and i highly recommend it. The Owner of the hotel is very gentle and also can speak english. Its just beside the lake and the view from the hotel is very very beautiful. The convenient location was our base for exploring the old streets filled with shops, stalls, restaurants, cafes, historical buildings, as well as new shopping malls across the main road. The friendly front counter lady gave suggestions on places to eat. We tried them and they were all great. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s ceiling heater to keep the shower area warm during winter.
