The room is clean and warm, the bedding is soft, the hygiene is meticulous, the boss recommends niche attractions and authentic restaurants, free luggage storage and help mail specialties, so touching!

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Very cosy and comfortable stay, and the staff were fantastic. They made you feel at home and looked after you every step of the way. Cassie was amazing and helped us with tours, travel info, rides, and food recommendations. 100% will stay again if we are ever back in Lijiang

Set in Shangri-La, Tavern Hostel仁和客栈 features a garden, shared lounge, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is located 600 metres from Guishan Park. Super cozy place, both the private room and dorms (tried both). In a quiet alley in the old town, serves good and fairly priced food and most of all very accommodating owners - helping and giving advice and also really nice to just talk with them. Would always book here when I’m in Shangri La.

The boss is enthusiastic and reliable, the planned hiking route is safe and fun, reminds of sun protection, anti-slip and high anti-slip precautions, free luggage storage, help carpooling, the price is fair, and it is full of goodwill!

Set in Dali, 4.6 km from Goddess of Mercy Temple, Blue Sea Hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Good location by the lake. The host and his mother were very kind to invite us to join them and their family for a New Year dinner which was wonderful. Breakfast was great.

Attractively set in the Wuhua District district of Kunming, Moon and Chalice Boutique Hotel is situated 1.5 km from Golden Horse and Jade Rooster, 1.6 km from Jiaosanqiao Station and 2.4 km from... Fantastic location, lovely room and staff were great. Arranged pick up and drop off from the train station which made life so easy.
