This traditional guest house exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The staff, especially Ms. Sanqian, was incredibly considerate and friendly. She helped me arrange a tour and contacted me in advance to make sure I could arrive safely. The restaurants she recommended were excellent. I enjoyed them much, so I visited there twice. The guest house itself was very clean and well maintained, offering a perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort. Breakfast was provided for free, which was a lovely bonus. The location was also ideal; I could easily walk to all the main attractions in the old town. I have traveled to 66 countries so far, and I can confidently say this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I will definitely come back and stay here again on my next trip to Lijiang :)

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

I Lijiang, 17 minutters gange fra Nanmen Bridge, ligger 熹宿 Xisu Designer Garden Inn, som har et treningsstudio, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en terrasse. The location is by the road and very convenient to call a Didi ride to anywhere. The staff are very helpful and even pack breakfast on the go when we went for our day trip. There are cute cats and dogs at the stay that you can play with and our girls had a fun time playing with them and we all love SiSi the big sweet, friendly dog and Gelu the cool big cat! The surrounding is nice with places to sit and chill at sofas with book shelves beside them.

Tavern Hostel仁和客栈 ligger i Shangri-La og har en hage, fellesstue, restaurant og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Super cozy place, both the private room and dorms (tried both). In a quiet alley in the old town, serves good and fairly priced food and most of all very accommodating owners - helping and giving advice and also really nice to just talk with them. Would always book here when I’m in Shangri La.

The Owner of the hotel is very gentle and also can speak english. Its just beside the lake and the view from the hotel is very very beautiful. The place and environment is super.
