I’m not surprised by the high reviews — the photos show exactly how it is. The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. Thank you Leo and Rosaura!

Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. We felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The rooms, the veranda with hammock, and the pool and jacuzzi are all great places to relax after a long day. Also great that you have the opportunity for dinner on the farm in case you don’t want to drive anymore. Lastly, we did an amazing quad ride organized by La Finca Lodge, which we would recommend to everyone.

Wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel in beautiful La Fortuna. We loved everything about this place. For the price, it can’t be beat.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... Location : I choosed Smithsonian room and there is a Arenal volcano view at my balcony which inspired me. I like hundred of birds feeding every morning at the restaurant for breakfast. And I like hiking trail too. Free trail offer at 8.00,10.00 and 14.00 pm. Next time I and my husband will stay here more than 1 nights for sure because there are a lot of activities here and front desk is very nice to service.

Nastanitev Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs se nahaja v mestu Fortuna, 10 km od znamenitosti Slap La Fortuna Waterfall, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, teraso ter bar. The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. We had such amazing experience there!, it is a lovely place with a vast variety of things to do. You can enjoy the spring waters, spa-massages, , do excursions to the volcano arenal, do trecking, buffet meals and many more activities. People there were so friendly and the service was excellent!

Nastanitev Hotel Poas Paradise je v mestu Alajuela, 10 km od znamenitosti narodni park Volcan Poas, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Location was quiet but convenient. Breakfast was made to order (eggs, toast, cheese, fruit…) Dinner menu included a nice organic chicken soup which was delicious. After being out all day, it was convenient to have dinner by the fireplace, a few steps from our room.

Nastanitev Ceiba Hostel je v mestu Fortuna, 6,2 km od znamenitosti Slap La Fortuna Waterfall, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. I loved my stay at Ceiba. The staff was very friendly, Josue helped my with tours and when my phone broke. The balcony with views of the volcano is amazing, there is a little garden to hang out, easy to meet other backpackers. The beds are comfortable and each have their own light, plugs and lockers. Also it was very clean and a quiet location at night. Bonus: very cute young hostel dog Mate 🥰
