Located just 6.8 km from Jardin Botanico Lankester, Casa Irazú offers accommodation in Cartago with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Great place close to Volcan Irazu. Nice garden at the entrance. Secure gated parking. Berna is a great host and her English is excellent, which makes it easier for international tourists. Clean room with lots of storage space. The shower and bathroom are modern looking and clean. Guests can cook in the house, although we didn't do it. Brenda prepares a great breakfast for her guests.

Boasting mountain views, Cabañas el Bosque provides accommodation with water sports facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, around 32 km from Ujarras Ruins. Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Bella Vista Ranch Ecolodge is located in Turrialba and has a garden, terrace and shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Amazing experience!! Anabel and Marc are really warm people who made us feel at home and helped us with everything. We had a fantastic time and hope to come back one day!

Orosi Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from Orosí mani square and 15 km from Cartago city centre. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Great little hotel which was the perfect oasis to break a long drive. The facilities are immaculate and clean. Everything is so deliberate and precise. Home like and Comfy rooms, super professional and efficient staff.
