Orosi Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from Orosí mani square and 15 km from Cartago city centre. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Expected a semi secluded lodge, arrived at a compact guesthouse at the village corner, but it was a really good experience. Attention to detail, from stylish furniture, non-slippery floors, comfortable design to fresh morning newspaper, quality food and plenty of information about things to do. It was a home feeling because the hosts took care of us with kind attention. Bird feeders, frog basin, but for more birds walk up the street towards the mountain. Romantic nighttime view from your small terrace although the valley looks like a city with lights on all the night. Voice of the masked tree frog at the lodge was a calming addition to the night’s dog-bark soundscape. We loved the excellent Italian restaurant close by.

The rooms are cozy. The staff is super nice and accommodating. On one of the mornings we had to leave very early so they gave us our breakfast to-go the night before.
